Screwball comedy follows thirty-three-year-old theater dramaturg Dora (Judit Schell) who meets cute with swaggering actor Tamas (ubiquitous Kontroll star Sandor Csanyi) when she’s forced to a window ledge by the sudden arrival of her current lover’s wife.  As exasperated Dora tells actress chum Zsofi (Kata Dobo), she wants a kid but as for the guy, it’s just sex and nothing else.

Probably the only title in this year’s lineup to make a hit at both the Beverly Hills Film Festival and the Barcelona Tango Festival, director Entel’s debut documentary follows a group of Argentine musicians who walk the line between new school and Old World. “Orquesta Tipica” Fernandez Fierro is a twelve-man street band specializing in traditional tango music with a punk rock attitude.

Steve James (Hoop Dreams, Stevie) is one of the best documentary filmmakers alive. He may be drawn to an issue to start a project but, unlike Michael Moore or Morgan Spurlock, he doesn’t investigate issues. He takes on the much greater challenge of showing us a fully rounded human being for whom the issue is a backdrop, one of many.
