Drawing from classic American literature but rooted in today’s New York City, What Maisie Knew is an affecting portrait of a family coming apart, as seen from the vantage point of a six-year-old girl who watches the adults around her behave like children.

Septuagenarians Terence Stamp and Vanessa Redgrave costar for the first time in this touching crowd-pleaser, a sentimental comedy in the vein of Calendar Girls and The Full Monty.

Director Morgan Neville and Singer Merry Clayton Attending. Merry Clayton will perform a song after the screening on Friday, April 19.

What would a pop song be without the riffs, refrains, and harmonies of its backup vocalists? Although these singers are usually relegated to the margins, and few, if any, become household names, their work has defined countless songs that remain in our hearts and collective consciousness.

Kiefer Sutherland, Liev Schreiber and Kate Hudson co-star in this adaptation of Mohsin Hamid’s international best-selling novel, about a young Pakistani man (Riz Ahmed) whose pursuit of corporate success on Wall Street leads him on a strange path back to the world he had left behind.

Ellis and Neckbone are best friends approaching the twilight of their youth. While exploring, they stumble upon the hiding place of charismatic outlaw Mud (played with controlled charm by a well-cast Matthew McConaughey), who takes a quick liking to the boys and recruits them to his cause: the search for true love and a clean getaway.
