Raised as brothers, intense teammates and competitors on the soccer field – the gregarious, swaggering Julio (Eliu Armas) and the more wiry and focused Daniel “Gato” (Fernando Moreno) have remained virtually inseparable ever since the newborn Daniel was found abandoned in a trash heap in their La Ceniza slum. The opportunity of their lives arrives when a football scout invites them to tryout for the city’s top professional team, just as a tragic act of violence threatens to tear them apart and prevent them from achieving their dreams.

Daniel es un delantero excepcional, un fenómeno. Julio es el capitán de su equipo. Un líder nato. Ambos son hermanos de crianza y juegan fútbol en su pequeño barrio "La Ceniza". Daniel desea con todas sus fuerzas jugar a nivel profesional mientras Julio mantiene a la familia con dinero sucio: no tiene tiempo de soñar. La oportunidad de sus vidas llega cuando un cazatalentos los invita a unas pruebas en el famoso equipo de la ciudad el "Caracas Fútbol Club". En ese momento una tragedia los sacude y ellos deben decidir, a patadas y sobre una cancha de tierra, qué es más importante: la unión de la familia, el sabor de la venganza o el sueño de sus vidas.
