This film fest favorite is a not-to-be-missed riotous, ingeniously inventive, one-of-a-kind romp.
For a group of disaffected, anarchic musicians, the city is an orchestra. The renegade bunch uses everything from oxygen tanks to the whirring squeal of a paper shredder in their sonic attack on the constant din of urban life. Tone-deaf Officer Warnebring is hot on the trail of these aural terrorists, but runs into trouble when he suddenly finds himself strangely drawn to one of them…
The heart of Sound of Noise lies in its impeccably constructed percussive performances. Enormously entertaining and imaginative, this is writer/directors’ Ola Simonsson and Johannes Stjärne Nilsson’s first feature film and wildest ride yet.
