Award winning Canadian filmmaker Ed Gass-Donnelly returns with a striking contemporary gothic tale of murder, redemption, and long-held secrets.

Set in a small Ontario Mennonite community, Peter Stormare (Fargo) gives a captivating performance as Walter, an aging ineffective police officer called upon to solve a local murder case and redeem himself in the eyes of the people. Walter’s motivations begin to become suspect as the investigation proceeds, and he finds himself ensnared in a web of self-doubt, bitter, unhealed wounds, and religious repression.

Stunning cinematography and a haunting choral score add to deft performances that give this film a power that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
