This documentary explores two worlds that rarely collide: Tibetans and heavy-metal music.
In his debut feature film, director Shenpenn Khymsar travels the globe in search of his fellow Tibetan refugees, and documents the vibrant underground rock-n-roll scene of Darjeeling, India. Over the course of his global journey, Khymsar artfully portrays the role of music in activism, and its power to create a sense of belonging for those in need of a home.
