Juno’s Ellen Page stars as Tracey, a troubled high school student harboring an abiding hatred for her parents, her classmates and the world in general. Her time is divided between avoiding her low-life parents, lusting after a glam-styled new boy in school (rocker Slim Twig) and searching for her long-missing little brother. McDonald captures the Tracey’s directionless rage with innovative split screen techniques, fractured, non-linear storytelling and an old school punk and glam soundtrack. “McDonald’s latest is his most ambitious attempt to carve up the cinematic frame and give a head-butt to conventions.” – Eye Weekly Toronto Click here to view the trailer.
