Isolated in his city flat with only wife Eliska for company and unsure about how to deal with this new situation, he accepts a position at a refundable bottles counter in the local supermarket as his solution to a decent job, solving what had been the root of his unhappiness. At the center of a city community again, Josef finally finds his way back to his own life. The father-and-son team that made Oscar-winning Kolya such a delight are back in tandem again, Jan Sverák behind the camera and Sverák Sr. as scriptwriter and lead actor.
