Schedule Changes, Guest Appearances...

 

Due to a shipping delay, Wednesday, May 2nd's screening of Sami was postponed. We are now pleased to announce that Sami will be shown on Sun., May 6, 5:15 pm, Oak Street Cinema, and Mon., May 7, 7:15 pm, Oak Street Cinema.

 

'Best of the Fest' holdover week schedule has been posted. It's your last chance to see some great films you may have missed!

The Producer of Loach is a Fish, Too , Mr. Nan will be present at the showing of his film on Saturday April 27, 7:00 p.m., Oak Street Cinema.  There will be a Q & A time at the end of the film.

 

The Great Match has added a screening. It will play Saturday, April 28th - 5:00 p.m. - Bell Auditorium.

 

Special guest expected for screening of Ruby’s Town Friday, April 27th - 5:00 pm - Oak Street Cinema: “Paycheck,” the champ turkey from Worthington. A Texas delegation also will be on hand with the film’s Director, Erik McCowan.

 

The Road will be screened again during "Best of the Fest": 7:00 p.m., Monday April 30, Oak St. Cinema.

 

Sami date changed due to shipping problems. Now to show at 7:15 pm, Wed., May 2, Oak St. Cinema.

 

Director Gene Graham along with Mel Cheren (on whose life in the 70s dance music community the film is based) will be present at the screening of The Godfather of Disco , 9:30 pm, Thurs., April 26th, St. Anthony Main.

 

What Means Motley? will be shown at 9:30 pm, Wednesday April 25, Oak St. Cinema (The time and place listed on this websitesite is now corrected.)

The Magician to be reset for ‘Holdover’ week. . . Turkish film Climates (below) in its place.

 

Director Rajnesh Domalpalli will be present at the showing of his prizewinning film, Vanaja, on Saturday, April 21, 11:00 am – Oak Street Cinema. (Vanaja won Best Feature Award at the 2007 Berlin Film Festival).
